IT IS WITH HEAVY HEARTS that we announce the passing of Lloyd Arthur Patzer, 89. Lloyd passed peacefully away with family at his side on April 17, 2026. During his younger years, he lived and worked on the family farm. Lloyd worked in the farming industry for most of his life, and later worked at the Parkland Furniture Factory, and eventually at Heritage Chrysler in Lacombe. Lloyd enjoyed maintaining his beautiful yard and garden. He also enjoyed drawing, camping, tinkering in the garage and cheering on the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays. A celebration of life for Lloyd will be scheduled at a later date.

STRONG today and strong tomorrow… Maintaining muscle and bone strength is one of the most powerful ways to stay active and independent as you age. Strong muscles support your joints, improve balance, and make everyday tasks—like climbing stairs or carrying groceries—easier and safer. Healthy bones provide the sturdy foundation your body depends on. Strength training with light weights or resistance bands, along with weight-bearing activities such as walking, helps maintain both muscle and bone resilience. Fueling your body with enough protein, calcium, and vitamin D adds even more protection. “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 ~ Your Health Ministry Team
