WINTER INITIATIVE – FEB 15

Serving Our Community on February 15

This winter, our church family is coming together to share warmth, compassion, and practical help with those in need. On Sunday, February 15, we invite you to join us for our Winter Initiative—a hands-on outreach project focused on caring for our unhoused neighbors in a meaningful and tangible way.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we will be preparing 100 hot meals and assembling 100 personal hygiene kits to distribute in the Red Deer area. These simple but powerful acts of kindness can make a real difference during the cold winter months.

We will meet at 9:00 AM in the CHCS gym and kitchen, where volunteers will work together to prepare food and organize hygiene supplies. With enough helping hands, we hope to complete everything by 11:00 AM, after which teams will head to Red Deer to deliver the meals and kits.

We are also looking for volunteers who are willing to drive their vehicles for delivery. If you are able to help in this way, please contact Pastor Honey at 403-862-1857 by call or text.

Whether you can chop vegetables, pack kits, or drive for delivery, your participation matters. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to making this outreach possible. Let’s continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community this winter.

We look forward to serving together!
