An Evening of Inspiration: Folk Mountain Gospel Concert Coming to Sylvan Lake
The Sylvan Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church is pleased to invite the community to a special evening of music, inspiration, and fellowship on Monday, July 6, at 7:00 p.m. Join us for a gospel concert featuring Folk Mountain Gospel, the musical ministry of Don and Donna Mohl.
Since 1988, Don and Donna have traveled across United States sharing the love of Jesus through music and personal testimony. Their ministry is built on a simple desire—to follow wherever God leads and to use their musical gifts to point others to His grace and love.
What makes Folk Mountain Gospel unique is their rich blend of mountain and folk-style gospel music. Audiences are treated to the beautiful sounds of both traditional and biblical instruments, including the hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, zither, banjo, autoharp, guitar, and harmonica. Combined with their warm vocal harmonies, these instruments create a distinctive and memorable worship experience.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy beloved hymns of faith, contemporary gospel songs, and original music inspired by family values, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and God’s enduring love.
