WINTER INITIATIVE We are raising $4,000 to provide 300 meals and 100 personal hygiene packages for those experiencing homelessness. Three times a year, we prepare 100 meals for distribution, and this winter we also want to include hygiene packages. Please consider donating to support the Winter Initiative. Thank you!

ESTHER SHERMAN MEMORIAL SERVICE Esther Sherman passed away on December 20, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026 at Ponoka Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed at that time. We wish you a peaceful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

A MIRACLE OF “UNCONDITIONAL LOVE” happened on December 24, 1914, in the middle of a freezing battlefield in France. British troops watched in amazement as candle-lit Christmas trees began to appear above the German trenches. A young soldier with the London Regiment wrote in his diary: from the German trenches, a rich baritone voice began to sing a song. The grave and tender voice rose out of the frozen mist—it was like being in another world, one entered through a nightmare. An unofficial truce spread across the front lines as they sang Christmas carols:
