Who We Are

The College Heights Parkland Adventurer Ministry has been an active in our church since November, 2012. The goal and purpose of the Adventurer Ministry is to support parents in their pursuit to evangelize their child(ren) for Christ by working together with the home, school and church in providing opportunities for physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social development for the family. The College Heights Parkland Adventurer Ministry encompasses the Adventurer Club (for children in pre-school through grade 4) and the Adventurer Family Network (for the parents of Adventurer Club Members).

What We Do

The Adventurer Club learn spiritual lessons and earn badges in various disciplines with their parents/guardians as well as participate in church and community services such as greeting and offering collection at the church as well as food drives and garbage pickup, etc. in the neighbourhood.

The Adventurer Family Network gets together to chat about parenting, watch videos or discuss books/articles, or have guest speakers about Christian Parenting topics.

How To Get Involved

The Adventurer Ministry is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in preschool (aged 4) and kindergarten (aged 5) as well as grades 1-4 who agree to keep the Adventurer Pledge and Law. The Adventurer program is designed to support parents in assisting children with the challenging task of developing fully as followers of Christ in today’s world.

There are also many opportunities for parents/guardians to be involved in as their child(ren) become members of the club. For future enrolment, please contact the director.
